If and when it makes economic, political and socital sense, Hawai'i should seek sovereignty.
Hawai’i can be of greater service to itself, to the United States and to the world as a sovereign nation. Being of service is life and world saving importantance in today's crowded and enviormentally threatened world.
Hawaii's diverse cultural and ethnic population can become a valuable example of a multi-ethnic and a multi-cultural community of like minded human beings working together for the purpose of survival, peace and happiness on earth for everyone. Hawai'i is not perfect in this regard. Hawaiians have tolerance for one another but lack a full and equal amount of respect for one another. We have the foundation to have a positive world influence but we need to move forward as rapidly as possible creating by example a better way for the entire world to live together in peace and happiness. It can begin right here, right now.
Hawai’i has never been a threat to another nation and most of the world enjoys coming here. Hawai'i can improve on this by becoming a safe gathering and meeting place for worldwide "Solution Conferences."
In order to survive we must create and surround the islands with a protective vision of peace, prosperity and equality.
Hawai'i will remain open and welcoming to all people and leaders who come here with the desire for personal, national and world peace.
Previously I've supported Hawai'i as a nation rather than a kingdom. Now a publicly elected unicameral governing body with a native elected or appointed king or queen.
But before we can approach the soverinty challange we first need to reduce food imports by 30-50%.
Growing vegitables in garden boxes and by converting grass lawns to gardens and by planting fruit trees, this can be accomplished.
There would be several small teams created for the purpose of helping establish, maintain and harvest food boxes. To assist residents in finding the best garden areas on their property and also with choosing the best type of fruit trees to plant. These teams will also assist with harvesting, preserving and marketing both gareden and tree crops.
Last years state budget allowed only 3% of 1% for state agriculture. This needs to change. Ag land needs to be preserved. In becoming a separate nation we could hope to see large tracts owned by individuals and private companies returned by being gifted back to the state.
Food is Freedom! When everything else breaks down our survival depends on Hawai'i food crops and production, not on the mainland or anyone else.
Mahalo!
